Mercredi, c'est ravioli.
Meredith Brody is getting away with her spanking today, not due to good quality of the review, but due to train running over a pedestrian this morning, which had us wait for a while then ride our bicycle from Redwood City to Mountain View, which took us out of our regular schedule. It is one ripe for deconstruction, as there are comments to be made about the fact that her movie schedule dictates which restaurant she goes to; the restaurant she ends up at seem to be across the street from the movie theater, yet always in North Beach or thereabout; etc. She's getting away with an awful one here.
Oh, and in a stage review, Chloe Weltman writes: I now realize that I don't need to hijack Meredith Brody's column in order to write about fine dining. Oh yes, you need to, you do need to, please.
