Mercredi, c'est ravioli.

Meredith writes: Astute Sopranos watchers will wonder why I'm referring to an episode from two series back rather than the currently unspooling Season 6. And astute Weekly readers will wonder why you are referring at length to an episode of the Sopranos in a food review.

But that is before you segue into your comcast and tivo issues (I paraphrase but goes like: "I had a hard time plugging my TV so I missed some quality shows"), which in retrospect, makes the Soprano intro almost bearable.

Oh, and she has foie gras, twice. Good to see the goose is stuffed, and that no one is force feeding her.

Backstabber of the week: the subject line writer for the letters section, who coined Robert's first fan mail for the following letter, from a lady named Annemarie:
Finally, a local food critic who writes about food ["Pie High," March 15] and does not use the column to reminisce about everywhere they've been and wax on and on about family members and friends who also sample the restaurants. Those were painful reviews.

Now I can go back to reading the column. Thank you! Thank you!

Implied in the headline is that Meredith gets a lot of angry mail in the same vein.
