Mardi, c'est Ravioli.

Surprisingly enough, the Weekly has put up tomorrow's offering today already.

Meredith goes, surprise, surprise, back to the Westfield Mall! That thud you heard, that was me banging my head on the table.

She goes to review Out the Door, which is doubly ironic, since she has repeatedly reviewed the parent of Out the door, the Slanted Door, located as well in a high end food court: the ferry building. See? Repeated visits to the westfield mall have replaced repeated visits to the ferry building, but the place she visits, the Slanted Door and its offsprings, remains the same. We had a time unit to measure how long it would take for her to return to the ferry building: the meredith orbit. The westfield orbit is an order of magnitude faster. You blink, and she's already back there.

As always, prior to going to an oft-visited place in an over-visited mall, Meredith states the opposite, that her intent is good, she really means to be adventurous, she definitely knows of places out of the way, she just happens to return to the same place all the time:

Friends or family from out of town are planning a visit to the area, and they want your advice on where they should eat. I never have a set response to this question; it elicits a series of queries from me, related to price, location, and appetite.

She does not have a set response, but only through a technicality. She sometimes answers: Westfield Shopping Center, other times: Bloomingdale's Food Court, or, once in a while: That Great Shopping Center on Market and Fourth, the One With the Convenient Bart Station.
